Sourcing, import & logistics
Profitable vehicles, sourced and imported with rigour.
From selection at source to customs clearance in Casablanca and showroom delivery — a controlled, traceable, compliant chain.

Profitable selection & sourcing
Every purchase starts from a profitability thesis: high-demand segments for Morocco, verified condition and a controlled landed cost. Remote sourcing, auction screening and portfolio arbitrage.

Diligence & export/import file
Pre-export inspection, a documented condition report and grading; the export/import file and bank file are assembled before any commitment.

Casablanca port & customs clearance
Declaration prepared by our customs broker, physical inspection and VIN check, duty and tax payment, then the release order — every step compliant and traceable.

Preparation & PDI
After clearance the vehicle moves to the yard, then to our PDI centre near the port: delivery inspection, reconditioning and photo prep before it goes online.

National dispatch & transport
Loaded onto car carriers, planned and tracked from our dispatch room, then moved inland from Casablanca port to each city.

City compounds near the showrooms
Secure compounds close to every showroom — Casablanca, Rabat, Marrakesh, Tangier and Agadir — for fast availability and a controlled last mile.

Frequently asked questions
Can Motora import a specific model that isn't in stock?
Yes, on request. Tell us the make, model, trim and engine you want: we check availability at source, eligibility for Moroccan homologation, and give you a detailed import quote before any commitment. What customs duty and VAT apply to an imported vehicle?
A vehicle imported into Morocco carries customs duty, import VAT (20%) and, depending on the engine and displacement, a special tax (vignette / TIC). Rates vary with the country of origin and the free-trade agreements in force. We itemize every line in the quote, with no hidden fees. Will the imported vehicle be homologated and registrable in Morocco?
We only launch an import for vehicles that can be homologated. The conformity file (individual approval or type conformity) is filed with the competent authorities (NARSA / Mines) to obtain the Moroccan carte grise. A model that doesn't meet local standards won't be offered to you.Can a used vehicle be imported, and is there an age limit?
Importing used cars into Morocco is governed by a regulatory age limit (vehicles that are too old are not admitted) and by conformity conditions. We verify each vehicle's eligibility before committing you and confirm in writing whether it can be imported. Is the total import cost stated up front?
Yes. Our import quote clearly breaks down the source price, transport, customs duty, VAT, homologation and our service fee, in dirhams. You know the turnkey cost before you approve, with no nasty surprises at clearance. How long does an import take?
The timeline depends on the vehicle's origin, transport and the customs-clearance and homologation formalities. We give you a realistic range with the quote and keep you informed at every stage until the keys are handed over.
